1.What are the benefits of having an Auditel franchise?

Auditel is a white collar franchise opportunity ideal for management and executive level professionals. It was set up in 1994 to help organisations navigate the maze of tariffs and service offerings that had sprung up following the deregulation of the utilities markets. Twenty years on, our consultants now provide strategic cost management services to over 3,400 medium and large-sized organisations across the UK and Ireland in more than 100 areas of business expenditure.

According to a survey conducted on behalf of Auditel by Management Today in 2013, 70% of all organisations asked have no cost management strategy in place. Yet 8 out of 10 have it on the boardroom agenda and over 65% of them now recognise that, carried out by experts, strategic cost management really can accelerate performance, improve efficiency and gain competitive advantage. This represents a huge untapped market for Auditel franchisees and translates into outstanding earnings potential and return on investment, in fact Auditel sales have grown by over 70% in the last 3 years.

By investing in an Auditel cost management franchise, prospective franchisees will be encouraged to put their existing skills and experience to good use. They will become part of the Auditel network which comprises over 200 like-minded professionals with whom they can combine their skills to upsell and cross sell their services to prospective clients.

And, if they work from home, they won’t even have the daily commute!
2.How long have Auditel been franchising?

Since 1997.

3.How much does your franchise opportunity cost, franchise fee, equipment and working capital?

The franchise fee is £36,000. Other than a phone, computer, printer, broadband and some storage facilities, there is no other equipment required. The ongoing monthly management service fees are £245 or 12.5% of income earned, whichever is the greater in months one to eighteen and varies thereafter, Working capital varies according to the candidate’s personal situation. In their later years, they may decide to rent office accommodation and partner with other franchisees and/or build a team of employee specialists.
4.What are the average gross and net profits and do you provide accounts and a business plan?

It depends on what their professional and personal goals are. An Auditel franchise is scalable and flexible allowing franchisees to build the business they want. Franchises may be individuals, couples, practices, partnerships or joint ventures. Importantly, most Auditel franchises renew their agreements after 5, 10 and 15 years because they consistently meet or exceed their financial and personal targets. A business plan is discussed and formulated with potential franchisees.

5.How much/what training do you provide and is it on-going?

Auditel’s award-winning training, 5-year mentoring and support programmes include more than 40 trainers and mentors, many of them experienced franchisees. Franchisees are given all the training, mentoring and support that they need to get their business off the ground and keep it on course. A Support Manager is assigned who regularly assesses their growth and business strategy. At the same time, specialist mentors are on hand to provide a variety of information, including how to attract new clients and specialist sector knowledge. Franchisees get the chance to attend a range of workshops designed to help them grow their business and hone their skills, through one-to-one contact with client acquisition and technical project management trainers. There are regular local and regional meetings and an annual National Suppliers’ Exhibition and National Conference.
