Over the years I have lost count of the number of franchisees who have told me that they bought the wrong franchise and with hindsight would have done something different.

Buying a franchise is a major step in someone’s life and many people looking at buying a franchise do so with rose tinted spectacles.

Sometimes it is not the fault of the franchisor. It may be a good franchise but not suited to the particular type of person that has invested in the franchise.

However sometimes it is, and franchisees don’t get what they were promised. There can also be conflicts of interest which sometimes leads to legal proceedings which can be costly for both parties. Better to seek advice first.
